City Fresh was founded in 1994, with the mission of providing services and jobs in Boston’s low-income neighborhoods. We hire from within our community, cultivate talent and build sustainable and meaningful careers for our employees, many of whom live in economically challenged neighborhoods. Today, we are close to 100 employees, the average employee has been with us for more than 5 years, many have been with us for over a decade. During their time at City Fresh, many of our employees have become first time home buyers and their children the first in their family to graduate from college.
