Delivering great tasting, nutritious food created from ingredients you can pronounce and menu options that make sense for our community.
Our Menu Choice
Our favorite recipes have been compiled over the last 25 years to best serve our community. With food options designed for a wide variety of preferences, service styles and dietary needs, our focus is to consistently provide recognizable, balanced, delicious meals that meet or exceed nutrition guidelines.
Traditional American
Flavorful, fan favorites that celebrate a range of popular meals such as Chicken Parmesan, BBQ Beef Tips, Roasted Turkey with Gravy and Mashed Potatoes, Meatloaf, Whole Grain Enchiladas and Jambalaya.
Caribbean Flavors
A mix of dishes inspired by the flavor found in the traditional cooking of Haiti, The Dominican Republic and The Islands. Some of our favorites include Pollo Asado, Chicken with Okra and Mushrooms, Braised Oxtail, and Whitefish Sofrito with Rice and Beans.
Asian/ Vietnamese Flavors
With dishes like Muong Xao Thit Bo (Stir-Fried Water Spinach with Beef), Chao Suon Thit Bam (Pork Rice Porridge) and Bun Ga Nuong (Lemongrass Chicken), this menu showcases the fresh ingredients and complementary textures used in traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
Portuguese/Cape Verdean
From Alcatra (Portuguese Beef Stew), Bolinhos de Bacalhau (Salt Cod Fritters) to Cachupa Rica (Cape Verde Sausage Stew), this menu highlights the flavors of Portugal and Cape Verde.
Vegetarian
Creative, plant-forward and bean protein dishes inspired by global cuisines such as Tofu Artichoke Scampi with Asparagus or Zucchini, Corn & White Bean Fritters, and Sweet Potato and Bean Burgers.
Deli Style Sandwiches
Classic sandwiches on assorted, local breads such as turkey, roast beef, turkey pastrami, tuna salad, egg salad and chicken cranberry salad. Each comes with a side such as greens, beet salad or tarragon potato salad. These are complete meals served with a dessert and beverage.
Allergen-free
Meals made without any of the 8 major allergens; milk, eggs, fin fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybeans. While we exclude the major allergens from the No-Allergen Meal and we are a nut-free facility, we handle several of the major allergens in our facility.
Emergency meals
City Fresh team members are in constant contact with our partners to make order adjustments and menu changes in advance when possible. While this applies mostly to issues around general winter weather or schedule changes, we are prepared to respond to food crisis scenarios.
Supplements
Ensure is available for certain authorized senior care programs.
Chilled and frozen meals
Planning ahead is critical in maintaining food security. These programs allow for consistent meals in anticipation of bad weather, holiday times and times of uncertain program changes.
Therapeutic
Dietary focused meals made for those that require pureed, chopped or ground foods. This includes also cardiac-centric meals with reduced caloric counts as well as modified carbohydrate meals that are lower in simple and complex carbs.
